Aim of the training
This course is for children in year three and above who can't ride a bike and if present, the stabilisers will need to be removed for the training. The training goes through stages of safely getting on and off a bike, braking, steering, getting a good balance and pedalling. Most people are able to achieve these by the end of the course, although it's impossible for us to guarantee it. The training will give the rider the skills to go on and practise.
How long does the training last?
We allocate two hours including a short break. We ask that you remain with your child, or very local, in case your child wishes to finish the training early.
Are you ready?
Before starting the training, trainees need to have a bike in working condition. When sitting on their bike the child's feet should be able to reach the ground If your child's bike has stabilisers, please remove them so we can help your child achieve the balance required.
About our fees
