Want to learn to ride a bike? Or maybe you used to cycle but haven’t ridden for a long time and feel a bit nervous.
You might even be new to the UK and want to learn how to ride safely on British roads.
Join us for a friendly, welcoming cycling session with Surrey County Council’s qualified instructors.
You can tell us what you’d like to achieve, and our instructors will support you at your own pace.
During the session you can:
- Talk with an instructor about your goals
- Practise riding in a traffic‑free area
- Get advice about the best next cycling course for you
- Possibly receive extra training on the day (depending on how busy it is)
Our sessions follow key Bikeability principles including observation, communication, and safe road positioning.
No bike? No problem.
Talking Tree can lend you a bike, a helmet, and a high‑vis jacket.
